(31.7.2006) The international Japanese entrepreneur, Takenaka Corporation, employing more than 5400 engineers around the world, has signed a license agreement with Damptech A/S for the use of its highly innovative solutions to protect buildings from earthquakes in areas with high seismic activity.

The license covers not only the Japanese market but also Takenaka Corporation's 20 branches spread around the world.

Japan is the most progressive but also the most difficult place to obtain official certification of new products within earthquake technology. This agreement therefore represents a major commercial breakthrough for Damptech.
