3.3 million € for online shopping you can trust
Trustpilot - the service that allows users to share their experiences with online shopping - has raised 3.3 million € from the two Nordic venture funds SEED Capital and Northzone. The investment is dedicated to making Trustpilot the dominant player within their field on a global scale.
Trustpilot was launched in 2007, is available in 10 European countries. At the moment, Trustpilot is gaining large European market shares in countries such as Holland, France and England, where marketing activities has been intensified over the past year. In Denmark, the service is already dominant.
With a significant investment of 3.3 million € from two of the largest Nordic venture funds – SEED Capital and Northzone – marketing activities will be intensified throughout Europe with the purpose of becoming the dominant player in Europe, and then globally. The investment will also contribute to strengthening Trustpilot’s organization with international competences.
