Firmafon launches corporate calling in simple package

It is now possible for Danish companies to purchase and operate a complete telephony system from their web browser and mobile phone. Building on their successful transfer call Firmafon is adding mobile telephony and launching a comprehensive and transparent package that makes it easy to deploy and manage enterprise telephony. Alongside the launch Firmafon has also raised a new investment from venture fund SEED Capital.

Up to today Firmafon has delivered a web-based call transfer service executed in a user-friendly design and targeting small businesses. The service gave companies the opportunity to design and tailor how calls transfered to employees, voicemail and the like. The uniqueness of the service was how the entire setup could be made handled by the company itself via a user-friendly web interface.

With the launch of Firmafon Mobile Firmafon enters into the enterprise telephony market by expanding its existing main number and transfer call functionality and adding mobile telephony. The entire thing offered in a transparent packages - without fees or contract time restrictions - which makes it easy for businesses to survey their expenses. All the company's telephony needs are covered for a fixed amount per employee per month. At the same time Firmafon retains the user friendly web interface that allows easy management of the company's subscriptions and call transfers without the use of neither hardware or PC software.

"We want to do away with the complexity that characterizes today's business telephony," said Peter Engelbrecht, CEO of Firmafon. "We take the best of private telephony in Denmark and mix it with the best in online usability. All in all, we make it as easy for companies to get a complete telephony solution, as it is to create a Gmail account."

Besides bringing new functionality Firmafon also challenges the long contract time restrictions and complex fee structures, which have up till now characterized enterprise telephony. Instead Firmafon is based on the philosophy that customer loyalty is created through the best product.

Simultaneously with the launch Firmafon has managed to raise an additional investment from venture fund SEED Capital. The investment will be used to market Firmafons solution in Denmark and further develop their telephony platform.

Lars Andersen, General Partner at SEED Capital: "Firmafon is a business telephony company that focuses on the customer and creates solutions that fits their lives. They have proved their talent with their transfer call solution which got a lot of users in a short time, and therefore we are ready to invest further in their development".
