SEED Capital is looking for our next colleague - an Investment Manager for our IT team. Main focus will be on hardware, embedded software and mobile technologies.

Assessment of business concepts, business development, board work, and fundraising
You will be part of an effective team of Investment Managers at SEED Capital, where your primary focus will be business opportunities related to hardware, embedded software and mobile technologies. Your tasks will include scanning the market for potential investment opportunities, where you proactively build and utilize your network while also handling direct inquiries from entrepreneurs seeking venture capital and financing to develop their business ideas. You analyze and evaluate inquiries and present the ones you consider relevant before the SEED Capital investment committee. Subsequently you work with the development of the portfolio companies from a position on the board. The latter includes go to market strategies, organizational development, the companies' funding base, and the long-term preparation of exits. You refer to SEED Capital's partner group and will have a widespread contact base within the company, in the portfolio companies, in the investor community, within educational organizations, and within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Commercial and technical profile with strong hardware skills
You have an educational background within engineering or similar. You have solid experience in management or project management with clearly defined responsibilities for employees, projects, budgets and results. Ideally you have some years experience in sales, product development, consulting, or commercial development of hardware technologies and possibly you have been involved in a start-up. We put strong emphasis on your great interpersonal skills and your ability to achieve results with and through others. You are outgoing, have a great drive, and you are good at establishing networks. Finally, you are a strong communicator – in both Danish and English.
