Nangate on Red Herrings hot list
Nangate has been listed on Red Herring's list of the top 100 most innovative companies in Europe in 2010. Red Herring have previously discovered companies like YouTube, Google and Yahoo while these companies were still in their infancies.
The selection of Nangate is based on their technology for cell library creation and optimization tools for more effective chip design. Nangate tools enable custom tailoring of digital cell libraries to meet specific design targets. Libraries can be optimized for design goals such as power consumption, die area, operating frequency or required yield. The result: improvements in IC performance can be achieved at much lower cost and with considerably less effort than using full-custom design methods.
Nangate was incorporated in October 2004 and the company now has 55 employees with offices in the USA, Denmark, Japan, Brazil and Russia.
