Trustpilot – Europe’s largest platform for customer reviews – is continuing their massive expansion. Over the last six months the Trustpilot team has more than doubled its size and the review ticker is well beyond review number 5 million.

Trustpilot is an open, review-driven community connecting online consumers with the companies they buy from. Shared shopping experiences help consumers make smarter, informed decisions about buying, while companies get concrete feedback from their customers. Trustpilot is passionate about driving transparency across the web.

The HR manager at Trustpilot is really busy these days. Europe’s largest platform for customer reviews now counts 65 employees and currently adds new team members every week – mostly in sales, development and customer service. A massive growth that was ignited by a capital injection from SEED Capital and Northzone in September 2011. At the same time the review site is growing significantly with more than 5 million reviews and close to 100.000 companies reviewed.

Even though no sales numbers are public it is safe to say that sales are following the team and review expansion and that the effort to expand the Trustpilot service to the entire European continent is well underway. The UK market – which was almost unaware of Trustpilot prior to 2011 ­– is now Trustpilots biggest market.

Together with its many new team members is it also apparent that Trustpilot is developing into a truly international business. With their many new recruitments for customer focused positions the need for insight into local languages has become critical and therefore half of the employees at the Danish based Trustpilot office has a non-Danish passport.
