Jakob is CFO and Partner. He joined the team in 2006, one year after the company was founded,and is responsible for financial management of the funds and contact with the investors. Jakob’s experience ensures SEED Capital operates with consistency and professionalism at all times - essential in the high-risk world of venture capital. He’s also involved in setting up and developing the financial setup of our many portfolio companies. When captables and waterfall gets too complicated, all investors and founders turn to Jakob. He is a true master.
Prior to SEED Capital, Jakob worked in finance, project evaluations and M&A at Ørsted, Denmark’s largest energy company. He started his career working with futures and options in the financial sector.

I’m a passionate road cyclist and love biking on my carbon road racer, preferably with good colleagues and friends. In the colder months, I travel south to the Alps to go skiing.
Having raised three wonderful boys to young men, I am now beginning to spend more time on the simpler joys of life like travelling to European countries (in a sustainable way) or going to music festivals.
